Go Team Bennion!

We went on a super fun group date with 2 couples in our ward. We all wore matching shirts, and as you can tell, I don't think mine could have stretched any more.

John was a master apple tower builder.

We had to move a cookie from our foreheads to our mouths without using our hands. Need I mention that they were ginger snaps rolled in sugar. The sugar kept falling into my eyes and made my eyes water really bad.

John's face turned into a tomato as he struggled to blow up a balloon.

We had a blast having such an organized date for once. I think we've been a little lazy on the creative side of dating lately so it was a fun change.

John's Angel Food Cake

John was feeling very ambitious yesterday and made an angel food cake all by himself! Way to go John! There's only 1 piece left. It was so yummy!

New Apartment Pics

(We call it Chicken Broc Broc while making chicken sounds) while I made curtains.

Here's our new apartment. It seems pretty small but we still have plenty of space, even a few empty cupboards.

Ward 5k

John and I just ran a 5K on Memorial Day! John did amazing and got 1st place! I thought I was just going to walk the whole thing. Well, after 100 yards of walking, I got really bored and decided to run. I started jogging at a very slow, comefortable pace, and well, I just didn't want to stop. I ended up jogging at least 2.5 miles of the 5K, got my official worst time ever for a 5K, and was very proud of myself for being able to run as far as I did. Yay for running at 9 months pregnant! Just 3 weeks to go!!!
